Purpose-built construction, dependable thermal performance, and Morgan durability come together in a refrigerated body designed for the realities of commercial transportation.
Designed to help maintain consistent cargo temperatures and protect the integrity of temperature-sensitive products throughout the route.
Morgan Construction delivers the durability required for daily commercial operations, repeated loading cycles, and challenging road conditions.
Choose from available body dimensions, doors, floors, refrigeration solutions, access configurations, and operational options to create a Cold Star tailored to your application.
Every detail is engineered for temperature control, protection and durability - keeping your cargo protected mile after mile.
Morgan's Cold Star front end is built around the equipment your operation depends on. Extra-heavy steel support and lateral bracing provide a reinforced mounting foundation for the refrigeration unit, helping manage the stresses of loaded miles, rough roads, and demanding delivery routes.
A one-piece thermoplastic dormer and front top radius, stainless steel corner radius, aluminum posts, and bottom rail deliver commercial-grade durability, while 4" foam insulation helps protect temperature-controlled cargo and refrigeration efficiency. Integrated steps and a grab handle provide easier access for refrigeration unit inspection and service - helping crews maintain equipment and keep trucks on the road.
Protect the refrigeration system. Protect the cargo. Protect your uptime.
Morgan engineers strength into the foundation with 3" steel I-beam crossmembers spaced every 12" on center, supported by heavy-duty 4" I-beam longrails. That means structural support is positioned every foot along the subframe - helping distribute payload forces and manage the repeated stresses of loaded miles, frequent stops, and demanding commercial routes. Integrated wheelpans over the tire area, Mylar tape between the bottom rails, a glassboard subpan, and 4" foam insulation add protection and thermal performance.
More support per foot. Built for more demanding work.
Morgan's 1¼" extruded aluminum floor provides a strong, durable cargo surface engineered for the demands of commercial transportation, repeated loading and unloading, and daily fleet operation. An integrated 6" scuff adds protection where cargo and equipment repeatedly contact the lower walls, helping reduce everyday wear and damage. Four floor drains with kazoos help manage water and simplify washdowns - supporting a cleaner, more efficient cargo environment.
More protection under every load. Built to work longer.
Morgan's .040" aluminum sidewalls are reinforced with aluminum hat posts on 16" centers, providing closely spaced structural support for demanding commercial operation. Standard 3" poured polyurethane insulation delivers consistent thermal protection throughout the sidewalls, with additional foam thicknesses available for more demanding temperature-control applications.
Structural strength. Thermal protection. Built for demanding routes.
Morgan's Cold Star roof combines a .032" aluminum exterior, 3" foam insulation, and extruded aluminum top rail to deliver durable protection and thermal performance for demanding refrigerated routes. A crowned roof design helps direct water away from the roof surface, reducing water pooling and prolonged moisture exposure. Aluminum roof bows on 24" centers provide consistent structural support, while the seamless glassboard ceiling liner creates a clean, durable interior surface. A recessed stainless-steel dome light with an in-cab switch provides convenient visibility in the cargo area.
Better water management. Strong thermal protection. Built for the miles ahead.
Morgan's stainless steel rear frame is engineered for the constant loading, unloading, and exposure to the rigors of demanding refrigerated delivery routes. Morgan's exclusive thermal breaks at the floors, thresholds, and doors help reduce thermal transfer at critical points - supporting temperature control and cold-chain performance. An integrated clearance-light protector and rain deflector help protect components and cargo-area access from the elements, while roadside and curbside grab handles provide secure access throughout the workday.
Keep the cold in. Keep the elements out. Keep your route moving.
Morgan exterior lighting is designed to meet FMVSS 108 specifications, with required lighting and reflectors for dependable visibility on demanding commercial routes. A sealed, plug-together wiring harness, protected in a loom, helps shield electrical connections from road exposure, moisture, and everyday operating conditions - supporting long-term reliability and easier serviceability.
Reliable visibility. Durable connections. Built to help keep your fleet moving.
Morgan's Cold Star insulated rear overhead door is engineered for the repeated opening and closing demands of refrigerated delivery, helping reduce thermal transfer when closed and protecting temperature-controlled cargo between stops. Designed for frequent deliveries and fast loading and unloading, the overhead configuration provides efficient cargo access without requiring exterior swing clearance.
Hold the cold. Protect the load. Keep the route moving.
Morgan's heavy-duty rear bumper is engineered for the demanding environment at the back of a commercial truck body - where daily routes, loading docks, and repeated deliveries put equipment to the test. Durable construction helps protect the rear of the body from everyday operating demands, while an integrated step provides secure, convenient access to the cargo area.
Protect the body. Support the driver. Keep the fleet moving.
Every operation is different. Cold Star can be configured around your routes, cargo, and delivery requirements - giving you the flexibility to build a refrigerated truck body around the way your business actually works.
Your route. Your cargo. Your Cold Star.
